Based in New York or Austin, the role is hybrid. You will define requirements, acceptance criteria, test plans, and monitor usage trends to steer future development.

Vestwell is expanding and we're keen to add an amazing Product Manager to our team who’s passionate about data—we’re talking everything from pipelines to automation to AI. We're looking for someone who loves to solve problems and is driven to build great solutions. You will work across all our product lines—translating end-user needs into focused, actionable steps, that result in timely data products. You will help refine and execute our product vision, improving the requirement-intake process, and implementing new processes on a quarterly basis. Vestwell is a continuously evolving data engine at its heart.
If you are someone who dives into whatever challenge is placed in front of you, you will be involved in the planning and management of the following facets of our work process: product requirements, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, AI deep research. Your job requires an amazing relationship with operations, development, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver new product features that critically impact the growth of our company.
This role will be based in either our New York or Austin office, and will be part of Vestwell's hybrid in-office operation.
Our interview process starts the same for every candidate with 1-2 introductory conversations to learn more about your background, interests, and what you're looking for, while also giving you the opportunity to learn more about Vestwell and the team. From there, the process varies by role but typically includes a skills or experience-based assessment, such as a coding interview, portfolio review, or deeper discussion of your relevant experience. Successful candidates then move on to a virtual or in-person interview panel. Before extending an offer, we complete a reference check with a current or former manager and a peer. Throughout the process, we prioritize transparency, clear communication, and minimizing surprises.
