Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking a Performance and Analytics Manager to lead data-informed decision making, build accountability, and provide leadership visibility into strengths and risks. The role will research performance metrics from other states and develop public-facing metrics to promote transparency and trust.

The position requires strong SQL, Power BI, and Python skills, plus experience in data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Analytics, or Information Systems or related field; plus 1 year of progressive experience in project management or related field
• OR four years of experience in business administration, business analysis, data analysis, or closely related field
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains dashboards and reports for leadership.
• Creates ad hoc and legislative reporting.
• Establishes baseline KPIs across divisions.
• Analyzes performance trends and identifies efficiency opportunities.
• Ensures accuracy and alignment of metrics across the agency.
• Integrates data from multiple systems (D360, QLess, survey tools).
• Develops and implements KPI frameworks to track project success.
• Conducts comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and insights, leading to data-driven recommendations.
