Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; Specialist degree preferred.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate; Leadership certificate preferred.
• 3 years’ teaching experience; preferred instructional coach or school leadership.
• Effective written and oral communication; organization and planning; data analysis to improve educator effectiveness.
• Ability to leverage technology for professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Collaborates and provides professional development at high-needs schools to build data-based decision making capacity.
• Delivers professional development in data-based decision making to improve student achievement.
• Leads with others in PD on assessment best practices to ensure valid, reliable results.
• Designs and evaluates data-informed PD programs to address student absenteeism.
• Trains teachers on appropriate use of student data, protecting privacy.
• Utilizes technology to develop and support PD activities.
• Performs other Title II, Part A duties as assigned by administrator.
