Job summary

JetBlue is seeking an Systems Operations Strategy & Analytics Analyst to enhance data-driven decision making at the System Operations Center (SOC). You will bridge Operations and Planning, delivering scalable solutions, dashboards, and policies for reliability and efficiency.

The role requires strong SQL, Python or R, Tableau, and Excel skills, plus the ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• One year of quantitative and analytical experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one high-level programming language (Python or R).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance and identify constraints impacting efficiency.
• Develop and promote dashboards and decision-support tools to improve SOC operations.
• Coordinate with operating groups to align tactical execution with strategic goals.
• Serve as a liaison between operational teams and data experts to implement data-driven policies.
• Support strategic planning for operational reliability across teams.
• Review analyses to optimize the JetBlue schedule for resilience.
• Support SOC Weekly Operations Reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ingest data from multiple sources to enable data-driven decision making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
