Academies of Math and Science (AMS) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher to deliver standards-aligned science instruction and foster inquiry-based learning. This on-site, full-time role invites collaboration with grade-level teams and data-driven instructional practices to drive student achievement.

Salary ranges from $48,331.25 to $54,571.89 (DOE), plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus. AMS supports ongoing professional development, PBIS implementation, and commitment to Title I and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field or valid Arizona teaching certification
• Strong classroom management and classroom environment control
• Demonstrates commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities
• Demonstrates analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned science instruction across AMS curriculum
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Use formative and summative data to guide planning and interventions
• Foster inquiry-based learning and hands-on exploration
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment with high expectations
• Implement PBIS and preventative strategies
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Participate in weekly professional development and PLCs
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders
• Lead parent conferences and family engagement activities
