Job summary

Alex and Ani is seeking a Merchandise Manager to join our Merchandising team and drive the development and management of our product assortment. You will work across Merchandise Planning, Product Development, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations to ensure timely, relevant product offerings.

The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, highly organized, and customer-focused. This role supports ETZ hours in a remote US setting and requires ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in merchandising, buying, planning, or related function in consumer products with high SKU counts.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Commercial mindset with curiosity about customers, products, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of seasonal and ongoing product assortments.
• Analyze sales, inventory, margin, and product performance to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain and update assortment, product, and merchandising reports.
• Bring data and insights to assortment reviews to inform merchandising decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product launches and promotions reflect the merchandising strategy.
• Conduct market research to identify relevant trends and opportunities.
• Prepare merchandising presentations and business recaps for meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve merchandising processes and reporting.
