Job summary

NY State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking a Professional Program Evaluation Specialist to oversee the Incident Management System (IMU Department). The role focuses on collecting and analyzing program data, producing reports and recommendations, and supporting evaluation processes to ensure compliance with Part 624 regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating data collection, developing training materials, and presenting findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of professional program evaluation experience in a human services setting.
• Substitution: a master's or higher-level degree can substitute for one year of non-supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects, reviews, and analyzes quantitative data related to programmatic services.
• Creates reports, tables, graphs, and presentations based on data analysis.
• Presents findings, reports, and recommendations to higher-level staff.
• Assists in development of evaluation processes and performance improvement projects.
• Develops and maintains internal protocols used in program evaluation.
