Job summary

Jitsu is seeking a Transportation Planner to support and optimize last-mile delivery operations, reporting to the Planning Manager. The role focuses on developing delivery plans, monitoring KPIs, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has a strong logistics planning background, data analysis skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role with on-site requirements in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience with last-mile delivery planning and optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement last-mile delivery plans that optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve on-time performance.
• Ensure efficient allocation of delivery resources to meet service-level expectations.
• Track and analyze On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Cost Per Box (CPB) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Leverage data-driven insights to recommend operational enhancements.
• Work closely with transportation coordinators, facility operations managers, driver services, driver partners, and delivery service providers to enhance last-mile operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of delivery plans and resolve logistical challenges.
• Proactively identify and address delivery inefficiencies, delays, and issues to improve overall performance.
• Research and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in last-mile logistics.
• Prepare regular performance reports with detailed analysis of OTD, CPB, and other logistics metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to transportation planning.
