Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst local to Solon, Ohio to optimize inventory deployment, fulfillment, and allocation across plants and distribution centers. You will own short- and mid-term inventory decisions and drive mitigation strategies in constrained supply, using data-driven insights to align planning with operational constraints and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Local to Solon, OH required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 25+ years experience in supply chain.
• Proficiency with SAP/OMP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and mid-term inventory deployment decisions across plants, distribution centers, and regions to meet service, cost, and inventory targets.
• Identify supply risks using horizon-based analysis considering inventory levels, inbound timing, quality release status, and capacity constraints.
• Monitor system alerts, inventory imbalances, and service risks; lead cross-functional issue resolution.
• Make timely decisions within guardrails to resolve inventory imbalances and service risks.
• Define and govern allocation strategies and inventory segmentation policies to support order fulfillment.
• Own mitigation strategies in alignment with Order-to-Cash and Commercial inputs during supply challenges.
• Lead critical allocation decisions during constrained supply, balancing customer needs with business priorities.
• Communicate allocation strategies and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.
• Engage with planning forums to support integrated decision-making.
• Influence cross-functional decisions with data-driven insights and clear recommendations.
• Ensure alignment between planning assumptions and operational constraints.
