Job summary

TRAK Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be data-driven with strong FP&A fundamentals and hands-on SQL, Power BI, and Excel skills to automate reporting, improve visibility, and translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills including modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and joining data sets.
• Experience building complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, forecast updates, and scenario planning.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reports and variance analyses.
• Analyze financial and operational performance against budget/forecast.
• Develop financial models for new product launches, pricing, profitability analyses, and business cases.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for leadership decisions.
• Prepare materials for executive-level presentations.
