Job summary

Bridge Prep is seeking an innovative Elementary School Teacher to join our Staten Island team. The role focuses on data-driven instruction, collaboration with a co-teacher, and aligning lessons with New York State Standards and Bridge Prep curriculum.

The ideal candidate will plan engaging lessons, analyze student data to raise achievement, and communicate regularly with families to support student growth and inclusion. A NYS teaching certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing data to create, implement, and reflect on student instructional goals.
• Commitment to or experience working with students at various academic levels.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and engage diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Create a collaborative and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Plan and facilitate engaging lessons aligned with NY State Standards and Bridge Prep curriculum.
• Routinely analyze data to increase student achievement.
• Build students’ academic and social-emotional skills through explicit instruction.
• Maintain regular communication with families to promote student success.
• Develop and monitor IEPs in accordance with regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Collaborate with co-teacher to differentiate instruction and support learning.
