Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Valid state teaching license/certification (Tennessee or Mississippi).
• Strong ability to navigate instructional technology and data systems.
• Ability to design and deliver instruction using a variety of digital tools and learning platforms.
• Openness to giving and receiving frequent, actionable feedback as part of a continuous improvement culture.
• Professionalism and emotional composure in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in your content area within 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Serving as a content and grade-level expert, grounding instruction in deep standards mastery.
• Setting ambitious academic goals with scholars, monitoring progress, and providing actionable feedback.
• Analyzing student data and developing targeted growth plans with school leadership.
• Building strong relationships with scholars and families through proactive communication.
• Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment for student development.
• Meeting deadlines for lesson planning, grading, and student work analysis.
• Collaborating with teachers and leaders to ensure consistency and high expectations.
• Continuing to develop instructional practice through coaching and feedback.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support school and scholar success.
