Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Business Process Analyst Associate to enhance operations through analytics and process mapping. You will support delivery lines, programs, and functional teams as part of our enterprise IT services.

You will help develop data gathering processes, manage repositories, and create documentation to improve efficiency and visibility across projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, reporting, and onsite presence in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Technical training, certifications or BA/BS or related experience.
• Analytical and quantitative skills: working with large data sets to provide insights.
• Must be proficient in Excel and Power Automate; strong reporting and presentation skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Louisiana Residency Hybrid in Bossier City, LA if living within 60 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide briefs to management regarding work and projects via reports or summaries.
• Develop or execute data gathering and storage processes for future projects.
• Manage repositories and system updates daily to weekly.
• Document processes maps, job aids, and work instructions.
• Identify trends impacting service delivery and provide improvement recommendations.
• Monitor performance against baselines to meet costs and schedule objectives.
• Perform quality assurance reviews for onboarding and clearance packets.
• Communicate with delivery leads and leadership to ensure deliverables are met.
• Calculate and evaluate business metrics for forecasting and budgeting.
• Utilize data repositories and Power Automate to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and present data and support in-person engagements.
• Work onsite to support customer, company, and community events.
• Familiar with supply chain and asset management.
• Identify business needs, gather requirements, define scope, and remove duplicates.
