Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Public Policy Analysis/Administration or closely related field with 1+ years of data research/analysis experience
  • Experience in budgetary planning/management and financial analysis in government or non-profit settings

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish data products: reports, dashboards, charts, graphs, models, databases.
  • Update, maintain, and improve databases, dashboards, and analysis tools.
  • Monitor NYC expense budget with focus on DSNY, DPR, and Department of Correction.
  • Analyze budget documents and spending reports.
  • Assist in writing charter-m mandated reports and identify risks.
  • Follow current events and identify timely issues for analysis.
  • Collaborate with Budget Bureau and other City agencies.
  • Perform other related assignments and special projects.
