Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years related work experience in billing and/or patient access, working with CPT codes

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to discuss findings and reduce denial rates.
• Identifies billing adjustments and denial issues with CBO and HIM.
• Performs billing code reviews and interfaces with coding and charge capture teams.
• Develops billing reports to identify charging or coding issues.
• Coordinates billing audits and special projects.
• Plans proactive studies to assess billing quality.
• Maintains Lab Chargemaster and ensures CareConnect billing requirements.
