Job summary

Axiom in Belfast seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to help transform the company into a data-driven organization. You will surface operational insights, maintain data assets, and publish reports and dashboards for teams to make informed decisions.

The role collaborates with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, builds interactive dashboards, supports ETL pipelines, ensures data quality, and adheres to data governance policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, CS, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or BI.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, or Qlik.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills for querying.
• Familiarity with data cleaning and basic ETL concepts; Databricks or similar cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and build reporting solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in BI tools.
• Support ETL jobs and data pipelines to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Perform data QA audits, troubleshoot reporting issues, and maintain data integrity.
• Document data definitions, lineage, and access policies.
• Work with engineering/IT to understand data structures and implement BI solutions.
• Uphold data governance and security policies.
