Job summary

Jobtailor in Chicago seeks a Product Manager/Business Analyst to drive data-informed product strategy and roadmaps. You’ll collaborate with engineering, analytics, and go-to-market teams to translate market and customer data into actionable requirements and competitive plans.

You will monitor product adoption, revenue, and margin, prepare for releases, and help build business cases that guide prioritization and trade-offs for data-driven products in Technology and Financial Services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
2–5 years in product management, business analysis, or related projects.
Understanding of Agile or project management methodologies.
Experience in Technology, Financial Services, or Data & Analytics.
Knowledge of commercial risk, credit, or B2B financial services.
Experience measuring product adoption, revenue, and margin.
Ability to turn market data into business cases and roadmaps.
Experience with Agile teams to define requirements for data products.
Experience evaluating build, buy, or partner options.

Responsibilities

Analyze data and evaluate opportunities to identify market needs.
Gather data to define elements required to meet customer needs.
Contribute to prioritization and understand product trade-offs.
Support buy, build, or partner analyses.
Contribute to business cases and product roadmaps.
Provide product descriptions and requirements for development.
Prepare for and support product releases.
Monitor adoption and collect feedback for lifecycle management.
Track product performance including revenue and margin.
Collect, analyze, and present conclusions and insights.
Partner with engineering, analytics, and GTM teams for data-driven risk products.
