Job summary

K&G Fashion Superstore in Atlanta, GA is hiring an Allocator to join our Allocation and Merchandising Systems team. You will support inventory management for assigned product categories and assist the Senior Planner in achieving company goals.

The role requires a strong math acumen, comfort with Excel and data reporting, and willingness to learn allocation tools. Retail experience is preferred and detail-oriented problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 2 years’ retail experience preferred.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and database applications; including building spreadsheets ad hoc and creating macros
• MicroStrategy reporting ability a plus
• Extremely detail oriented and willing to analyze down to the lowest level
• Ability to work closely with a diverse group of people

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely allocations to support inventory plans and store service levels
• Work with Planners and Buyers to develop allocation strategies
• Work with stores and DC to ensure product availability
• Monitor purchase orders
• Monitor allocation effectiveness
• Manage DC inventory to determine business needs
• Make recommendations to plan continuous improvement
• Support cross functional teams by providing reports and ad hoc analysis
