Job summary

Ionic Digital is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support identification, screening, tracking, and prioritization of site and asset acquisition opportunities. You will build and maintain a high-quality database of targets, perform initial financial screening, and prepare investment memorandums for internal decision-making.

The role is data-driven and process-oriented, offering growth into deeper underwriting and financial analysis responsibilities over time as you gain expertise in data centers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or related field.
• 1–4+ years in acquisition support, real estate analysis, banking, FP&A, or related analytical role.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and prioritize a database of acquisition targets with market, site, operating, and financial data.
• Track opportunities across the pipeline: status, diligence items, priority, next steps, and decision history.
• Conduct initial financial screening using established criteria and return thresholds.
• Support data collection, validation, and maintenance for evaluating opportunities.
• Assemble investment screening memorandums, summaries, and presentations for internal review.
• Assist with acquisition analysis and financial modelling by gathering inputs and updating assumptions.
• Maintain comparable transaction and market reference data for screening and benchmarking.
• Gather market intelligence and diligence inputs from internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection, entry, and workflow efficiency.
• Support leadership with reporting and ad-hoc analysis of pipeline activity.
