Job summary

Get Engaged Media in Atlanta is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team. You will manage transactions, process A/P and A/R, and support month-end close with data-driven insights. You will create dashboards and reports using data platforms, analyze financial trends, and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success. A degree in Accounting is required; Big 4 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting; Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong background in accounting with data experience and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and able to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with data platforms (Monday.com, JIRA, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Manage transaction activity of the business.
• Help manage and process A/P and A/R.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., expenses).
• Work with the team on month-end close responsibilities.
• Help with revenue and expense accruals.
• Maintain and update the general ledger.
• Help prepare month-end management reporting.
• Gather, analyze and present data to support decision-making processes.
• Present findings and insights clearly.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Create dashboards, reports and visualizations of data.
• Provide insights into financial trends and variances.
• Assist with tracking KPIs.
• Assist in budgeting development and monitoring.
• Identify areas for cost/revenue improvements.
