Job summary

Westford Public Schools in Westford, Massachusetts is seeking an Academic Coach to support literacy, numeracy and executive functioning for referred students, reporting to the Instructional Leadership Team under Unit G terms. You will work with teachers, counselors and administrators to analyze data and develop instructional plans, while maintaining accurate records and promoting equitable opportunities for all learners.

Starting date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher required or evidence of licensure/certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to relate well with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction in literacy, numeracy and executive functioning.
• Support data collection to inform instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors and admins to analyze data and plan next steps.
• Instruct students on grade-level content and standards.
• Maintain records of student benchmarking and progress.
• Communicate regularly with teachers about progress and instructional plans.
• Promote equity and inclusion, supporting students with special needs and ELs.
