Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an Academic Support Specialist to develop lesson plans aligned to established guidelines and establish rapport with students, staff, and parents. The role emphasizes data-informed instruction and state standards guidance.

The position involves in-person and mobile training for school leadership, curriculum teams, and state team members, plus coaching visits and collaboration to improve instructional resources and curriculum maps throughout Florida.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum & Instruction preferred.
• 2-5 years related experience and/or training; commitment to mission and values.
• Proficient with MAC Office suite and SIS; awareness of educational tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate in-person and mobile training for school leadership, curriculum teams and state team members.
• Conduct school support visits alongside CSs, fostering a coaching and mentoring relationship.
• Provide feedback to CS team members regarding professional development and resources.
• Foster collaborative environments with leadership teams and stakeholders.
• Guide reviews and adoptions for instructional resources and curriculum maps.
