Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Data Delivery Manager/IT Delivery Manager in San Francisco, hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite). The role focuses on bridging data engineering with business strategy, ensuring pipelines, transformations, and analytics projects are timely, scoped, and aligned with business goals.

The candidate will work with Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and other data platforms, translating business requests into data contracts, while managing governance and cloud cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Needs strong data governance, data lifecycles, and technical data infrastructure knowledge.
• Proficiency with cloud data platforms, data modeling, and orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requests into data contracts and technical deliverables.
• Experience managing data pipeline latency, downtime, and testing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of data projects including data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: Data Engineers, Data Scientists, DBAs, BI Developers.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams; translate requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure governance, security compliance, access controls, and data quality.
• Establish and oversee testing processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data integration and platform dependencies.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and cloud infrastructure spend across platforms.
