Job summary

Creighton University’s REACH program seeks a Data Manager & Communications Specialist to oversee program data, support evaluation, and manage technology and communications. The role reports to the REACH Program Supervisor and collaborates with community partners, the Evaluation Specialist, and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; data management background preferred.
• 2+ years in database management, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and reporting tools.
• Experience with web-based surveys.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and maintain program data from community partners and program activities.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through data verification and reporting.
• Create and update databases, longitudinal datasets, and documentation.
• Analyze data using statistical software (e.g., SPSS) to support evaluation.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for program leadership, the CDC, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate on data collection tools, evaluation instruments, and grant reporting.
• Design and develop standardized and ad hoc reports to meet requirements.
• Serve as a data management resource for staff and partners.
• Manage REACH technology and communications, including website maintenance and surveys.
• Travel to partner communities for data collection and program support.
