Job summary

Nimble Robotics is seeking Data Collection Supervisors to lead front-line operators on a shift, owning attendance, quality, and morale. You’ll coach daily, ensure certifications, and hand off rigs smoothly.

This role sits at our collection sites and requires hands-on leadership and strong reliability. You'll be responsible for mentoring a pod of 8–12 operators, delivering timely feedback, and driving safety and data-handling standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading frontline hourly teams in warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, or similar hands-on operations.
• Experience coaching people to a measurable standard with visible improvements.
• Comfort with in-person performance conversations — early, specific, and direct.
• Reliability with shift flexibility, including evenings.
• Ability to work in person at the collection site.

Responsibilities

• Run your shift end to end: coverage, attendance, breaks, task assignments, and clean handoffs to the next shift.
• Coach operators against quality scorecards within 24 hours of receiving them — side-by-side on the floor.
• Deliver onboarding training reps to reach the certification bar quickly and provide honest pass/fail input on ramp cohorts.
• Own first-line performance management: recognize strong work, address issues directly, and escalate when needed to the Data Collection Manager.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians to keep rigs running — triage issues fast and log what broke and why.
• Report your shift's numbers daily: accepted episodes per operator-hour, rig uptime, attendance, and blockers.
• Enforce safety and data-handling procedures without exception.
• Feed learnings upward: shift-level fixes that work become site playbook for future locations.
