Job Summary:

North Stone is seeking a skilled and motivated Data / Cloud Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming raw data into valuable business insights. In this role, you will design and maintain cloud-based data pipelines, perform complex data analysis, and collaborate across departments to support data-driven decision-making. You will ensure data integrity and optimize existing processes, contributing to a scalable and efficient data ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, data modeling, and visualization tools.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Perform data analysis, including data mining, aggregation, and validation to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data documentation and metadata.
• Proactively explore opportunities for data process improvements and optimizations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and cloud computing.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
