Job summary

Accion Labs seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead complex data programs across multiple teams and locations in a hybrid Irvine setting. You will drive planning, governance, and delivery while ensuring accurate status reporting to senior leadership.

The role requires strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and Scrum teams, proactive risk management, and hands-on program oversight to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, data-centric programs with multiple teams.
• Ability to drive projects from planning to delivery with identified risks.
• Strong communication and executive reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program planning, execution, tracking, and governance across complex technology/data initiatives.
• Develop delivery plans with Product, Engineering, Data, Scrum teams and other stakeholders.
• Translate capabilities into milestones for development, dependencies, testing, and delivery.
• Maintain hands-on visibility into project status with ongoing updates.
• Proactively follow up with teams to obtain accurate status and identify blockers.
• Track program health using RAG status and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate issues at a detailed level and establish recovery plans.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, timelines, and commitments.
• Establish governance and reporting where processes are limited or inconsistent.
• Provide weekly/biweekly executive-level status reporting.
• Build credibility with stakeholders through follow-through and clear communication.
• Work with globally distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate meetings, drive decisions, document actions, and hold stakeholders accountable.
