Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead Engineering Change Management initiatives for Data Centers. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define requirements, manage schedules, and communicate tradeoffs to executives and engineers alike.

The ECM team standardizes engineering changes across Google’s data centers, driving cost control and schedule adherence while aligning with strategic goals. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with global scope and high impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of project management experience on projects/programs.
• 5 years of experience using spreadsheets for ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in data center design/construction or similar.”
• Master’s degree preferred in engineering, construction management, architecture, or PM.
• PMP certification or similar preferred.
• Experience building data architecture using SQLite/PostgreSQL and Looker Studio.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Center and Google Cloud teams to manage multiple workstreams.
• Track status and provide reports, notifications, and presentations at regional and global levels.
• Build workflows and data frameworks that scale.
• Manage partner team data input mechanisms and automate processes where possible.
• Maintain a continuous improvement approach and propose process changes.
