Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional data center engineering change programs. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with stakeholders across Data Center and Google Cloud teams in the US.

The ECM team standardizes engineering changes, drives cost control, and ensures on-time delivery. Experience in data center design, Change Management, and data analytics is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, project management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a project manager on projects and programs.
• 5 years of experience using spreadsheet tools for ad-hoc data analysis, data input, and reporting in a technical or business context.
• Experience in data center design and construction, or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple Data Center and Google Cloud teams to manage and report on several simultaneous workstreams.
• Track status of varied workstreams and provide reports, notifications, and presentations on specific, regional, and global levels.
• Build workflows and data frameworks that scale.
• Manage partner team data input mechanisms, seeking to automate and make systematic wherever possible.
• Sustain a continuous improvement approach including ability to solicit feedback, identify and present process improvements and change management ideas.
