Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with customers on architectural and design requirements spanning IT Systems to Datacenter Thermal technologies.
• Advanced working knowledge of heat transfer and the ability to analyze component/system level problems and apply advanced cooling technologies.
• Solid understanding and knowledge of and relationships with key suppliers of data center power and thermal management components.
• Ability to collaborate with Dell’s technology partners and supply base on cutting edge technology development and work with ODMs on mechanical, thermal & electrical aspects of system design.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and tolerance control requirements for high volume production environments, and author architecture specifications.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for driving the architecture of end-to-end solutions from server to data center, including air and liquid cooled servers, integrated rack solutions, power distribution and heat rejection.
• Innovate power-centric solutions for increasingly dense IT environments.
• Optimize cost, energy efficiency and performance from IT to the datacenter.
• Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune the system for maximum performance.
• Develop solution overviews and validate with Engineering.
• Propose BOM/SKUs to meet technical requirements and review with Engineering & shape the offer accordingly.
• Design Air, Liquid and other cooling solutions based on Datacenter and customer requirements.
• Drive hardware design based on customer requirements and required infrastructure.
• Define hardware topologies that are optimized for efficiency and performance for AI workloads.
