Job summary

DSV in the United States is seeking a Data Center Associate - LBO to support material orders, inventory management, and server assembly. You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, and execute daily inventory counts at the datacenter using hand tools, measuring devices, and various warehouse systems.

Candidates should have 1-3 years of related experience, good interpersonal and customer service skills, and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking part numbers, quantities and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards on the work area.
