Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is hiring a Data Center Associate to load/unload freight, perform quality checks, conduct inventory counts, and assemble/install server racks and components in the datacenter. You will use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices while following schematics to ensure precise cabling and rack installation.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience, strong customer service, computers experience, and strict adherence to electrical safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Critical thinking abilities and analytical skills are needed to meet production goals.
• Experience with computers and knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards are required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight and verify parts and quantities.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical spare parts on site.
• Populate components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware and operate material handling equipment safely.
