Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Data Center Associate for the B-Shift (Mon-Fri 2 PM-10:30 PM) at USA - Lockbourne. You will handle material orders, customer service, and inventory management, plus assemble and install servers and electronic components with various tools.

The role requires 1-3 years of related experience, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work with live electrical equipment in a datacenter environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for spare parts on site.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with accuracy.
• Populate components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards in the work area.
