Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Columbus, OH, is hiring a Data Center Associate (M-F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) to manage material orders, inventory, and server installations. The role requires interaction with customers on site and adherence to safety, quality, and process procedures.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, performing quality checks, cycle counting, and operating warehouse equipment. Base pay starts at $21.00/hour with consideration for experience and location.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and static discharge precautions.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload inbound and outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct parts and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical parts.
• Process return shipments using warehouse systems.
• Install server racks and electrical components with measuring devices and diagrams.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S in the datacenter.
