Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician in Monroe, LA to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. You will inspect mechanical and engineering systems, respond to BMS alarms, and coordinate with vendors to ensure safety and compliance.

The role involves site-wide maintenance, meter readings, and adhering to safety and quality standards while following established procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline with 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Complete planned preventive and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDUs and utilities.
• Follow safety processes and maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
