Job summary

US Signal is hiring a Data Center Technician for our Eden Prairie, MN facility. This onsite role offers shift options and on-call support, with multiple openings.

You’ll monitor critical systems, perform maintenance, manage racks, cabling, and vendor coordination while upholding security and uptime standards. Candidates should have an Associate degree or 2+ years in telecom/infra, basic IT skills, and CJIS certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years telecommunications/office infra experience.
• Willingness to learn electrical, HVAC, fire security systems and codes.
• CJIS certification within introductory period; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility rounds and monitor electrical, mechanical and fire safety systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment and respond to incidents within SLAs.
• Install and decommission racks; provide remote hands support and customer support.
• Install/test/maintain copper and fiber cabling; follow rack/cable standards.
• Manage work orders via Salesforce; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Oversee access control and badge issuance for staff and visitors.
• Follow escalation plans to ensure uptime and safety.
