Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Eagan, United States is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure in world-class data center facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role with standard business hours and on-call rotation.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, manage deployments and decommissions, monitor power and cooling, and document asset tracking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data center operations.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs in demanding environments.
• Data center certifications (CDCP/CDCS/CDCE) preferred.
• Vendor certifications (Dell, HPE, Cisco) preferred.
• Network certifications (CCNA, JNCIA) preferred.
• Experience with DCIM platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Deploy and decommission hardware.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking.
