Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician in South Bend, IN for a full-time on-site role supporting critical infrastructure in world-class facilities.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers and network gear, structured cabling, and incident troubleshooting. Candidates should have 3+ years in data center ops, strong cabling skills, and solid documentation abilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills: Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fibers.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain asset tracking and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
