Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks a Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site role in Westerville, OH. You will install, decommission, and migrate hardware, perform structured cabling, rack servers, manage cross-connects, and coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, experience with Dell/HP/Supermicro servers, and good English communication. On-site work and lifting 50+ lbs required, benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a), single-mode/multi-mode fiber.
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on-site.
• Professional communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
