Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Breinigsville, PA is seeking a Data Center Technician. This full-time, on-site role supports critical infrastructure at our world-class data center facilities.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform structured cabling, and manage asset documentation. The position requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber), and familiarity with power distribution and UPS systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with power distribution and UPS systems.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices (preferred).
• DCIM platforms experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
