Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Technician for a 1+ year contract in Centennial, CO. The role requires working the night shift (Mon-Thurs, 8pm-6am) and involves assisting with daily data center operations and monitoring facility alarms.

You will perform cabling, server installs/troubleshooting, hardware fixes, and rack/stack tasks, with exposure to UPS, generators, HVAC and facility systems. Prior experience with ticketing systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience in data centers or Co-Lo's.
• Technical experience within cabling, server install/troubleshooting, hardware fix/installs, rack/stack.

Responsibilities

• Walk the facility and monitor alarms for issues.
• Elevate issues to on-call techs as needed.
• Assist with daily data center technician duties during night shift.
• Understanding of UPS, power generators, HVAC and facility systems is a plus.

TEKsystems has a need for a Data Center Technician for our customer in South Denver/DTC for a 1 year+ W2 hourly contract opportunity.

• Contractor MUST be willing to working NIGHT SHIFT .*********

Overview

Will be helping manage daily data center technician duties during this shift.

• Shift: NIGHTS - Mon-Thurs, 8pm-6am ****

Duties

Duties include walking facility; monitor alarms for issues with network, servers, wifi, hardware and elevate to on-call techs; any basic understanding of UPS/power generators/HVAC / facility systems would be ideal

Top Skills Details

• 3-5+ years experience in data centers or Co-Lo's
• Technical experience within cabling, server install/troubleshooting, hardware fix/installs, rack/stack
• Any experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, etc
• Any level of experience running cables, testing or terminating would be a plus
• Any exposure to building automation systems and interacting with HVAC, generator systems and overall facility systems.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
