Meta seeks an IC2 Data Center Technician for its FORCE team. This entry-level role focuses on learning foundational technical skills, following established procedures, and supporting the reliability of Meta’s global server fleet.

Responsibilities include hardware checks, cabling tasks, basic troubleshooting, and ticket escalation to keep server and network uptime. Training and safety protocols are emphasized to develop core data center skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic hands-on experience with computer or network hardware/cabling.
• Willingness to learn Linux and networking concepts.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a data center environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks of server and network hardware and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Follow MOPs and SOPs to support hardware replacements and reseats.
• Maintain records, update checklists and logs, and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory management of optics, cables, and spares.
• Move and rack server/network equipment and use basic hand/power tools.
