Google New Albany, OH is seeking a Data Center Technician II for the third shift to install, configure, test and maintain cutting-edge hardware and server software within a high‑scale data center. You’ll engage in hands-on work moving racks, replacing components, and diagnosing systems alongside a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Experience performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment.
Experience diagnosing OS, server hardware, or networking protocols.
Ability to lift 50 lb (23 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate data center infrastructure across projects or functions.
Troubleshoot equipment or infrastructure and apply resources to resolve issues.
Maintain data security and integrity in accordance with Google standards.
Disassemble end-of-life equipment in a team setting.
Repair, maintain, and preventively service servers and related infrastructure.
