Everforth Apex seeks a Data Center Technician II to support network infrastructure in a large-scale data center environment across multiple U.S. sites. You will install, rack, cable, label, and document network gear, perform hardware replacements, and help with fiber/copper cabling and asset management.

Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential. The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data centers or technical field support, with ability to travel and work in PPE.

Competenze

• 2-3 years of hands-on technical experience with hardware installation, rack-and-stack, cable/patching, asset handling, or field support.
• Experience with network hardware, telecom equipment, structured cabling, low-voltage systems or related technologies.
• Basic understanding of switches, routers, optics, copper/fiber cabling, and network connectivity concepts.

Mansioni

• Install, rack, stack, cable, label, and document network equipment (switches, routers, patch panels, optics).
• Perform hardware replacement and break/fix on components like switches, transceivers, power supplies, fans, and line cards.
• Install and test fiber optic and copper cabling; validate cabling diagrams and asset records.
• Update tickets, asset records, inventory, and work orders with accurate documentation.
• Support network engineering through Smart Hands and remote troubleshooting when needed.
