Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking a hands-on IT Technician to support data center infrastructure in Denver. The role covers hardware deployment, troubleshooting, asset management, rack and stack, network validation, break/fix, and adherence to SOPs to maximize uptime.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in IT or data center environments, understands Windows and Linux basics, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and can follow procedures in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience in data center operations and rack/stack activities.
• Familiarity with SOPs and change management.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, cable, and decommission servers and network devices.
• Image, configure, and deploy laptops and support equipment.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and connectivity validation.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Work on-ticket queues and support on-call rotations.
