Job summary

VIVA USA Inc is seeking a detail-oriented data center engineer to manage hardware emulation and prototyping datacenters. You will work with external vendors and internal teams to support and develop infrastructure for state-of-the-art compute and AI workloads.

You will handle cluster administration, hardware deployments, and asset management within a centralized VBU framework, onsite at the DC center.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or Technical IT Certificate preferred.
• Experience with LSF/Slurm administration and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Unix administration, driver installation, and system configuration.
• Experience with enterprise emulation or prototyping systems.
• Strong datacenter space management and inventory organization.

Responsibilities

• Administrate LSF/Slurm, analyze jobs and data, handle user requests and incidents.
• Support multiple clusters on-prem and in the cloud; manage hardware upgrades.
• Interface with IT teams to deploy hardware and resolve infra issues.
• Collaborate with vendors to plan and deploy hardware/software in engineering env.
• Triage issues, maintain audits, and document assets in the DCIM tool.
• Ensure uptime of data centers and manage space, racks, and migrations.
