Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs within a data center operation.

This day shift role follows a rotational 3/4 work week with 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm, focused on ensuring safe environmental conditions and reliable facility operation. The technician will inspect mechanical and engineering systems, react to BMS alarms, coordinate with vendors, and complete planned PM tasks while maintaining comprehensive maintenance records

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in data center or similar facility.
• Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) and alarms.
• Ability to read instrumentation and meters and document maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Monitor BMS alarms and respond to HVAC-related issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Complete routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
• Document maintenance actions and quality records.
