Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. You will support Mechanical & Engineering systems, respond to BMS alarms, and coordinate with third‑party vendors to maintain safe, compliant facilities.

As part of the Critical and Technical Services function, you will complete planned PMs and reactive maintenance, read meters from UPS/PDUs, and ensure regulatory and quality standards are met under defined

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in data centers.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems in large facilities.
• Ability to monitor Building Management System alarms and respond accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems.
• React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDUs, and utilities.
• Follow safety processes and ensure regulatory and quality standards.
