Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a critical data center environment. You will monitor environmental conditions, respond to BMS alarms, and work with vendors to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline with 1–2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Training in a technical discipline with apprenticeship or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in a Data Center environment.
• Monitor and respond to Building Management System alarms and HVAC issues.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures and laws.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities and document maintenance records.
• Complete assigned work under supervision following established processes.
