Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a skilled facility professional to join their team in Arizona. This role involves maintaining critical systems in a high-spec data center, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and managing maintenance workflows through CMMS. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in data centers, knowledge of UPS and chillers, and strong communication skills. The position offers a contract-to-perm opportunity with career progression and structured onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate all critical facility systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on systems including UPS, ATS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH units, and chillers.
• Manage and close work orders and customer tickets via CMMS (Corrigo preferred).
• Record system readings and make real-time operational adjustments.
• Support incident response and follow escalation procedures.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams on maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready environment.

Skills

2+ years experience within a data center or critical facility environment

Strong experience on either electrical OR mechanical (MEP) systems

Hands-on knowledge of systems such as UPS, ATS, switchgear, chillers, CRAC/CRAH

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve live system issues

Experience working with CMMS platforms (Corrigo preferred)

Comfortable working night shifts and responding to site incidents

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
